"Hidden Gem"

You are given a highly experienced coach for the week and they take you to one of many surf breaks in the area that fits your level of surfing. My coach for the past 2 trips has been Norvin and I can honestly say his kindness and skill in the water in working to make me a better surfer has been one of the biggest blessings to me in one of my life goals to lead a more adventurous life in my 40s. This area of Nicaragua has so many beautiful, empty surf breaks for all levels of surfing. You and your friends from Rise Up will normally be the only ones out there catching beautiful waves.

"Can't wait to return!"

"Just returned from a week at Rise Up and have already planned my return trip. Beautiful setting overlooking the ocean and wonderful staff offering excellent surf instruction and tons of fun. Instructors take you surfing in the morning and play beach volleyball with you in the afternoon. Instructor gave me great feedback after each wave which I really appreciated. Very well-organized yet relaxed and safe. Excellent value and the most private surf breaks I've ever visited. I've traveled extensively and felt safe starting from my arrival at the airport, during the entire stay and all the way back through Managua on the return ride to the airport. If you're considering it, you should go. Or don't- More waves for me. :)"

"Consistently Awesome"

I just got back from a week at Rise Up, it's my 3rd time there and as in previous visits Rise Up absolutely rocked it! Beautiful people, incredible location & so much fun and laughter that I never want to leave!! The surf instruction is great and the resort is very well run and organized, creating an inviting and chill vibe all around. The perfect holiday in my opinion!! As for the safety factor in Nicaragua, I saw absolutely no signs of unrest or danger during our entire adventure. I felt completely safe and secure and will be going back to Rise Up Surf as soon as I possibly can!

"I just got back from a week long stay at Rise Up. First time there. Simply amazing. Well organized, awesome people, well fed. Also my first time surfing and everyone was very welcoming and supportive. Lots of relaxation and down time if you just want to chill. One of the best vacations I have ever had!"

"Best surf vacation I've ever had, will be back ASAP"

"I can't recommend Rise more highly. Honestly, 110% commitment from the hosts to providing a safe, comfortable, fun, memorable experience. Fresh homemade healthy meals three times a day plus amazing treats like homemade banana bread and desserts.. From the moment they picked me up from the airport to the moment they dropped me back off at the airport, I felt so safe. My surfing improved dramatically. The instructors are OUTSTANDING. I ignored the US travel advisory, which is honestly ridiculous, like one political thing happened in the major city one day last year... Best decision I ever made. I am already planning my next trip back!"
