Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Barbados, and Guatemala

Enjoy the beautiful black sand beaches of Guatemala, to the remote jungles of Southern Costa Rica, empty waves in Northern Nicaragua and stunning crystal clear waters of Barbados. We hand picked all of our destinations for an authentic off-the-grid surf experience where you will surf empty waves and connect with amazing people in beautiful places. Join Rise Up on a surf and yoga experience that you won’t forget.

Nicaragua

Our space in remote Northern Nicaragua is a tranquil, open-air, and eco-friendly resort that rests on a 19-acre teak farm. You will wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves in an oceanside cabana, go for peaceful walks on the beach, and relax in a shaded hammock by the pool. Steps away from your stone and teak casita is a private pathway to one of the most beautiful beaches in Nicaragua. The intimate resort is truly one of the most beautiful places to stay—a minimalist’s dream!

Nicaragua: Specialty Location

This specialty location in Northern Nicaragua rests on a 6-acre ocean front property surrounded by endless coconut, mango, avocado, lime, papaya and orange trees. You will wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves, relax in a hammock by the pool and common areas, and watch the beautiful sunsets on the beach. Each eco-friendly cabana is designed with comfort and coolness in mind—built using local pine and eucalyptus woods and local palm thatch for the roofs. This tranquil resort is truly one of the most beautiful places to stay in Nicaragua—a tropical dream!

Costa Rica

Our eco-friendly retreat in Costa Rica is located on the edge of a virgin rainforest, nestled between the mountains and shore. All sorts of monkeys, toucans and scarlet macaws are seen from the lodge and yoga deck regularly. As the only lodge on the beach, we consider it one of the most remote surf retreats in Costa Rica. To top it off, we are only a two minute minute walk to a perfect right hand point break so dreamy you might just want to stay forever.

Barbados

The villa in Barbados is one of Rise Up’s more luxurious destinations where you’ll settle into a charming and colorful two-story home surrounded by a beautiful garden and swaying palm trees. When you’re not surfing, claim a floating lounger by the pool, relax in the open-plan living areas, or explore the vibrant village.

Jamoon’s seven bedrooms, with five en-suites, are spread throughout the two levels of the property, and all have ceiling fans and air conditioning.

Guatemala

Our surf lodge in Guatemala can best be described as rustic, yet cozy, charming, and boho-chic. When you’re not surfing, you’ll feel at home by the pool, hanging in the hammocks, or walking the black sand beaches. The 8-suite hotel include a spacious loft style room, bungalow, poolside swim-up suite, or surfer studio. Kick your shoes off, smell the lemon and hibiscus trees, and share in our little oasis.
